Royâ is committed to making our website and our restaurant welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our website
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. That includes:
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus states throughout.
- A logical heading structure and a skip-to-content link.
- Text alternatives (alt text) for images.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text.
- A layout that works on mobile and adapts to zoom and larger text.
Our online booking is provided by SevenRooms. Where a third-party widget isn't fully accessible, you can always book by phone on 0141 332 7906 as an accessible alternative.
In the restaurant
- Our restaurant is spread across two floors with stairs, and there are two steps at the entrance. Please contact us before your visit and we'll do everything we can to assist.
- Let us know about any access needs when you book — including wheelchair access, step-free requirements, or assistance dogs.
