Middle Eastern cuisine has always celebrated vegetables, legumes and grains. Our vegan dishes aren't an afterthought — they're some of the most flavourful things we serve.

Naturally vegan

Much of Middle Eastern cuisine has always been plant-based. We're not adapting dishes — we're serving traditions that have been vegan for centuries.

Tahini, pomegranate, sumac, za'atar — our vegan dishes carry the same bold flavours as everything else on our menu.

Our vegan menu

This is our dedicated vegan sharing menu — every dish is plant-based, with vegan feta and vegan mozzarella standing in where needed. We recommend 2–3 plates per person. A full allergen sheet is also available in-restaurant — please just ask.

Do you have a dedicated vegan menu?
Yes — Royâ has a full dedicated vegan sharing menu of over 20 plant-based dishes, from dips and mezze to charcoal-grilled kebabs and baked flatbreads. We recommend 2–3 plates per person.
Is Middle Eastern food naturally vegan?
Much of it, yes. Dishes like hummus, muhammara, ezme and batata harra have been plant-based for centuries — we're serving traditions, not adaptations.
Do you use dairy substitutes?
Some dishes on our vegan menu use vegan feta or vegan mozzarella, so favourites like Turkish Cigars, Balal and our baked flatbreads stay fully plant-based.
Can vegans and non-vegans dine together?
Absolutely — everything is served sharing-style, so the vegan menu sits happily alongside the à la carte on the same table.
Are your vegan dishes also gluten-free?
Several are — they're marked GF on the menu — and we also have a dedicated gluten-free menu. Tell us your requirements when you book.
